LATIN-AMERICAN PAVILION - LAP

The Latin-American Pavilion is a space for the Development of Latin American Art/Culture in Asia, a place where the great masters encounter the emerging new artists of the American-Continent. The LAP is a pioneer of its kind in Asia and a referring cornerstone of Latin-American culture in artistic Asian circles.

The LAP houses galleries which specialize in Latin-American Art with various origins in Asia, Europe, Latin America and North America, all of which today exhibit through it the works of renowned artists from the continent. Physically the LAP occupies an area of over 300 m2 in two of the most important fairs in Shanghai: Art Shanghai and Shanghai Art Fair.

The Latin American Pavilion, originates as an initiative on behalf of TRAZOS, an organization from Toronto, Canada which has been working for sometime now in developing artists from Hispanic America. As such, TRAZOS has made possible in its short 5 years of existence, over 80 international events in the Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania.

As the Pavilion extends its realm of artist influence, and our world tour continues to visit the various art fairs in the most recognized regions of this world, we invite Latin America to join our venture in bringing the legacy that this great continent has to offer beyond its territorial borders.
